its three program divisions for community-building practitioners,
non-profit organizations, funders, government entities,
consultants and others working in the community-based,
non-profit sector.

core services are:
- Organizational
Services: Secures, manages and evaluates technical
assistance contracts to promote capacity building
in communities of color. This team holds the primary
responsibility of coordinating targeted interventions
and contracts related to organizational effectiveness
and community planning.
- Education
& Training: Conducts professional development
programs for consultants and community practitioners,
and improves capacity-building work in communities
of color through training, networking and advocacy
activities.

Community-Building: Develops
and implements major initiatives and demonstration
projects with the potential to improve social conditions;
to promote racial equity and multicultural relations;
to test new technical assistance methodologies; and
to deepen our understanding of capacity-building work
in communities of color.
