Organizational Service

The strategic goals of the Organizational Services Team are:

  • To provide technical assistance programs to build indigenous institutional capacity in communities of color.
  • To contribute to knowledge development and the utilization of best practices in the community-building field.
  • To implement a business development strategy and effective contract management systems to attain the annual revenue goals of the corporation.

The work of the Organizational Services Team is distinguished by its focus on tailoring interventions to the particular organizational and/or community context; building on the assets of client organizations and their constituents; highlighting organizational and constituent leadership; and creating a stimulating environment for learning and problem solving.

Grounded in these principles, NCDI is offering a broad range of technical assistance options for community-based organizations and collaboratives including:

INSTITUTIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Organizational Development Services:
Customized technical assistance services for client organizations.

Community Collaboration Services:
Customized technical assistance services for community collaboratives/networks.

Community Learning Circles:
Peer-to-peer training programs for board members and staff.

Non-Profit Clinics:
Skill-building workshops for community-based practitioners with follow-up technical assistance.

Executive Coaching:
Coaching services for board members and executive staff.

Fiscal Sponsorships:
Fiscal management services for family/private foundations and non-profits.

Community Planning:
Comprehensive community planning projects for diverse organizations and neighborhoods.

Neighborhood Developments:
Customized community development programs for diverse neighborhoods.
