Leadership Training

NCDI’s professional development workshops teach essential skills for guiding nonprofit organizations through the social change process, including facilitation methods, networking techniques, and business skills.

Our capacity-building approach has been developed and field-tested over a 25 year period through field work with more than 1,000 organizations in 85 cities and 40 states. NCDI’s Leadership Trainings use this social change model to engage participants in a peer learning program designed to deepen understanding of their roles as change makers in the capacity-building process.

The goal of NCDI’s Leadership Trainings is to disseminate the skills to bring about the social, political, and economic transformation of low-income communities of color through a flexible method of capacity building that can be adapted to the unique needs of each organization or community.
